Group Fitness Program Class Description
All classes are 55 minutes duration unless stated. Please arrive before class is due to start.
HIT -- High Intensity Training
An intense fitness class utilising a variety of techniques and equipment involving sport drills, team games, circuit and much more. If you like a good old-fashioned workout this is the one for you.
Gentle exercise A low impact activity for general muscle and cardiovascular conditioning ideal for those starting out an exercise program or needing to exercise moderately.
Pilates Matwork A mixture of abdominal conditioning and core strengthening exercises with a focus on floor movements. Instructed by a qualified Pilates matwork instructor. Great for the stomach and back.
Boxing Fitness A fun conditioning class using focus pads, mitts and boxing techniques for fitness.
Powerfit
Powerfit is a barbell class that begins with warm-up and follows with three bolcks of weights exercises. Between each block threre is a cardio segment. Powerfit will give you strength, endurance and definition.
15-minute Abs Do you have trouble getting motivated for your abdominal training? If so, try these short AB-blasting classes. These will be held in our new circuit studio and are designed to maximise strength and toning gains in the abdominal region.
Step A general aerobic class using a step box to tone legs and hips while developing fitness and fat loss goals.
Spinning
Bringing the outdoor elements into our own indoor spinning room. The training benefits of this class include aerobic fitness, weight loss, lower body toning and shaping. A 45-minute class suitable for all levels of fitness.
Yoga
A Hatha yoga class for all levels. Great for flexibility, relaxation and muscle balance.
Waistline
This class is full of variety, including combat syle aerobics, power step, Hilo aerobics for fat burning, as well as floor work targeting those essential trouble spots, i.e. tummies, hips, butts and thighs.
