Office Assistant

Basic Function

Assisting in clerical and administrative duties and fulfilling all club stationery requirements.

Reporting Responsibilities

Reports to Personal Assistant.Qualifications and Experience
School Certificate (or equivalent) and completion of relevant tertiary course. The ability to touch type at a speed of 60 wpm with complete accuracy. Good telephone manner. Proven oral and written communication skills. Prefer computer literacy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receptionist for Main Office
Opening and distribution of mail.
Distribution of internal mail twice daily.
Sorting of Customers’ payouts into machine number order.
Archiving Customers’ payouts.
Accurate typing of minutes and memos.
Assisting with data entry in Accounts Department.
Producing an accurate stationery report, including monthly stocktake and production of spreadsheets.
Filling stationery requisitions for all areas of the club
Maintenance of archived club records.
Performing clerical and administrative tasks as directed by department managers.
Performing additional duties as directed by the Executive Secretary.
