Membership Clerk
Basic Function
To answer all Club membership enquiries and process
and administer any such applications.
Reporting Responsibilities
Reports to the Operations Supervisors in their
absence.
Qualifications and Experience
School Certificate (or equivalent), tertiary qualifications
preferable. Comprehension of the Registered Clubs
Act and of the Clubs Articles of Association. Computer
literacy and proven written and oral communication
essential. Previous experience preferable.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accepting full and associate membership applications
from customers and checking details.
Processing membership applications and printing
new membership cards and details.
Renewal of all memberships when due or at end of
membership period.
Processing and issuing of Honorary memberships.
Processing of lost cards and issuing of new ones.
Arranging mortality fund payments.
Printing and compiling reports of membership figures,
as and when required.
Checking and updating citations on membership records.
Filing membership applications and correspondences.
Completing requisitions for membership stationary
when required.
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times.
Answering all membership enquiries whether in person
or over the phone.
Assisting Reception and Retail Shop in the performance
of their duties when available or required.
Perform any task or duty as directed by either of
the Operations Managers or the Operations Supervisors.
