TAB/Keno Operator
Basic Function
Providing efficient and accurate service of TAB
and Keno tickets and receipt of payment for such.
Reporting Responsibilities
Reports to Operations Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
School Certificate (or equivalent). Previous experience
in a customer service role preferable. Good command
of both written and spoken English. Basic mathematical
skills are essential. Good customer service skills.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accurate operation of an TAB Flight system and
Keno.
Providing efficient and accurate service of TAB
and Keno tickets.
Accurate stock control and requisitions of all TAB
and Keno tickets.
Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
Detailing of all race results on the display board
adjacent to the TAB/Keno outlet.
Opening and closing of TAB/Keno outlet as directed.
Checking of float at beginning of shift.
Reconciliation and balancing of float at completion
of shift or close of trade period, as per Operation
department standards.
Reports daily to the Operations Supervisors on duty.
Performing any additional duties as directed by
an Operations Supervisor or Managers.
Basic and general maintenance of both TAB and Keno
machines. Major service problems are to handled
by respective service employees.
