Catering Attendant

Basic Function

This position is responsible for the washing of all cookware and service crockery/cutlery and the overall cleanliness of the wash-up area/Bistro. This position also requires the clearing of tables and workstations in the Bistro.

Reporting Responsibilities

Reports to the Catering Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

School certificate (or equivalent). Previous experience in a customer service role preferable. Proven oral and written communication skills. Basic mathematical skills are essential. Good customer service skills. Must be able to work as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Washing of all cookware and service crockery/cutlery
Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
Cleaning of food and drink preparation area.
Must be polite and respectful to customers at all times.
Assisting customers with general enquiries.
Perform any additional tasks or duties as directed by the Catering Managers or Supervisors.
