Cashier

Basic Function

This work role is concerned with redeeming gaming machine payout vouchers for cash.

Reporting Responsibilities

Reports to the Gaming Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

School Certificate (or equivalent). Secondary qualifications preferred. Computer literacy and high volume cash handling experience essential. Previous experience in a customer service role. Good command of written and spoken English. Basic mathematical skills. Must be able to work in a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring that all details appearing on payouts received are correct.
Accurate entry of details from payout vouchers onto the computer.
Redeeming customers gaming machine credit vouchers for cash.
Absolute accuracy in all cash transactions.
Accurate balance of large float at the completion of shift.
Accurate completion of all paperwork.
Must be polite and respectful to customers at all times.
Perform any additional duties as directed by the Gaming Supervisors or Managers.
