Flame Bar and Restaurant

The outdoor environment provides an exotic touch

Flame Bar and Restaurant, an exotic addition to the Canterbury range of amenities, was recently juidged the best club restaurant in NSW at the ClubsNSW Awards for Excellence.

Canterbury's Operations Manager Anthony Biasotto and Executive Chef Simon McNamara accepted the award on behalf of the club, and on behalf of a dedicated staff that has made Flame a standout among not only club restaurants, but among Sydney's restaurants generally

Flame offers a sophisticated meeting place with an oustanding ambience and excellent food. Flame is open from 11am for coffee, and dining is available from 12noon until late.

The restaurant offers wood-fired pizzas as part of its menu, but there is an appealing a la carte menu that is imaginative and appealoing, and offers the full retaurant experience.

Flame is situated as an indoor-outdoor amenity, overlooking the club's central water feature, and is part of an expansive renovation of the orginal Canterbury club.

Flame adjoins the more intimate Heritage Bar, which offers a full range of cocktails and premium boutique beers, as well as snacks. Live entertainment is available in the restaurant from 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays. A live jazz band entertains on the Terrace every Sunday from 5.30pm.

Flame and The Heritage are lavishly appointed and furnished, and offer an exotic new level of ambience and comfort for Canterbury patrons.

Flame opens for coffee from 11am, for lunch from midday to 3pm, and for dinner from 6pm to 10.30pm seven days a week. On Friday and Saturday nights, wood-fired pizzas are available until midnight.

Please note that Flame is restricted to persons 18 years of age and over.
