The best of Australian talent                        in the new Paragon Room

Variety is the key to the entertainment program at Canterbury, with a rich mix of local and overseas talent to suit every taste. And there is a brand new Showroom in operation in the club's newly renovated wing.

The Paragon Room, named after the original movie theatre that has been transformed into Canterbury's latest facility, is home to all of Canterbury's traditional entertainment programs.

Friday night is always lively with our Friday night bands operating in the Paragon Room from 9pm until midnight. Showtime on Saturday night brings a range of stars, with generous helpings of Latin American dance music and a sprinkling of shows featuring the music of other lands.

Sunday afternoon is concert time, with a feature show or a topline double act providing the perfect way to relax at the end of the weekend. A major Talent Quest also is part of each year’s Sunday afternoon program.

Please note the Paragon Room is a restricted area for persons 18 years of age or over.

Entertainment programs at sister clubs Lakemba Services and The Bay Sports Club also are carefully planned for maximum enjoyment.
