The Dynasty Chinese Restaurant is geared to authentic Chinese cuisine, aimed at satisfying the most discerning Asian palate.

John Chu, who was commissioned to establish the restaurant in Canterbury’s new wing, conducted a study tour to Hong Kong to investigate the latest trends, and has produced at Canterbury a truly stunning menu.

The restaurant itself is magnificently appointed, with its Pagoda style timbers, its bamboo curtain roof, its dramatic artworks and its watercourse, which gives the impression of floating on a lake.

The recent addition of Yum Cha as a daily attraction, on top of the normal lunch menu, has proved extremely popular. The Dynasty now opens at 11 am Monday to Saturday, and 10 am Sunday to accommodate the Yum Cha diners.

For authentic Chinese dining in Sydney, this is as good as it gets.

6 pm to 11.30 pm Friday and Saturday
