The Bay Sports Club, formerly the Bateau Bay Bowling club, joined the Canterbury family in 2005, providing for members of the club an outstanding facility on the Central Coast, just a stone's throw from Shelly Beach.

The club has three bowling greens, has more active bowling members than any other club in the State, and is competitively strong in competitions run state-wide.

But the club offers far more than just bowls. It is a near-new, modern building with a vibrant atmosphere and a range of amenities that provides an inviting ambience for members.

It was recently re-named The Bay Sports Club to better identify with the wider commuinity of the Central Coast, and to better align it with the overall charter of the parent club, Bulldogs League Club. The bowling club remains a part of The Bay Sports, and operates exactly as it always has under its own governing committee.

The club has a wide range of affordable meals at the Bay Brasserie, which includes an outdoor eating area for relaxed dining.

All the normal club amenities are available with a large lounge, surrounded by a curtain glass wall, a splendid venue for meeting friends, and a well-appointed Sports Bar.

Bingo is on in the club at 10.30 each morning, there is evening lounge entertainment on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and monthly Cabaret Days as well.

The club is situated at 5 Bias Avenue, Bateau Bay, opposite the caravan park.
